Privacy Policy

Effective and last updated October 25, 2026

Who we are

Cielo Construction Group (“Cielo,” “we,” “us”) is a Florida certified general contractor (License # CGC1537315). This policy explains what personal information we collect through www.cielocg.com and by email, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to visitors from every U.S. state.

Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to send us and the basic technical data every website receives:

  • Identifiers and contact details: name, email address and phone number.
  • Project information: project address, the service you are interested in, a subject and your message, plus anything you include in emails or the subcontractor prequalification form (such as company, license and insurance details).
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested and the date and time, recorded automatically by our hosting provider in server logs.

We do not ask for or knowingly collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security, driver’s license or financial account numbers, health information, precise geolocation or biometric data) through this website.

How we use it

We use your information only to respond to your inquiry, prepare estimates, manage and document projects you hire us for, review subcontractor prequalification, meet our legal, licensing and tax obligations, and keep our website secure. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with:

  • Service providers who help us run our business and may process it only on our behalf: our website host (Hostinger) and our email provider (Microsoft).
  • Project parties involved in work you ask us to do, such as building departments, permitting agencies, subcontractors and project partners.
  • Legal and safety recipients when required by law, subpoena or to protect our rights.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising. We have not done so in the past 12 months.

Cookies, tracking and Do Not Track

Our website does not use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking pixels, and no third party collects personal information about your activity across other websites through our site. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers, which receive your IP address (see Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy). Because we do not track visitors across sites, we treat every visitor as if a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal were turned on; these signals do not change how the site works. If we ever add tools such as Google Analytics or Google Ads, we will update this policy first and explain how Google uses that data.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry records only as long as needed to respond and follow up, and project and contract records for as long as Florida licensing, tax and construction record-keeping rules require. Server logs are kept by our host for a limited period. We then delete or de-identify the information.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, state privacy laws (including those of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia) may give you rights to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • opt out of the sale of your information, targeted advertising and profiling (we do none of these);
  • not be discriminated against for using these rights.

We offer these rights to everyone, whatever state you live in.

How to make a request or appeal

Email info@cielocg.com with the subject “Privacy Request” and tell us what you would like us to do. We will confirm your identity using the contact details we already have, and respond within 45 days (we may extend this once by another 45 days if needed, and will let you know). You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof that the agent may act for you. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying with the subject “Privacy Appeal.” We will answer within 60 days, and if you are not satisfied you may contact your state Attorney General. Nevada residents may also email us to opt out of the sale of covered information, although we do not sell it.

Security

Our website uses an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we limit access to your information to people who need it to do their work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as financial account or Social Security numbers through the contact form.

Children

This website is intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or sell or share information about anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and for material changes we will also place a notice on our home page. Your continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
